Angle optimized suspension

A feature of the GT Force and Sensor models, this technology ensures better traction whilst enhancing comfort to guarantee safer and more efficient bike handling.

The system is based on a high pivot mount to create an optimised rear wheel trajectory for optimum shock absorption whilst improving the traction dynamics by keeping the tyres on the ground. AOS isolates your pedal forces from the suspension to ensure optimum pedalling on all surfaces. Furthermore, the integrated PathLink system reduces undesired chain extension to a minimum and feedback from the pedals.

Independent Drivetrain Suspension

Featured on the GT Fury, Sanction and Verb models, IDS ensures better shock absorption and greater rigidity whilst also being lighter.

Independent Drivetrain Suspension ensures more efficient pedalling by isolating the suspension from the transmission. The floating bottom bracket and rear triangle work independently from each other, thus reducing pedal feedback and optimising pedalling efficiency and suspension performance. Bikes featuring IDS are designed with a progressive suspension rate to ensure you keep control on the most demanding descents and ensure optimum comfort on the climbs. This technology also features easy access to the suspension to ensure optimum adjustment to suit your needs.

LOCKR Expanding Axle System

Featured on the GT Sensor model, this axle system ensures a simpler frame pivot which is both lighter and more rigid.

Working along the same lines as fork thru-axles, the LOCKR axle system threads into the frame and expands until it ‘locks’ into place. By expanding the axle on both sides, torque is spread equally across all surface areas, increasing rigidity by 6%. Furthermore, LOCKR technology reduces the number of necessary components, thus reducing weight by 10% compared to traditional systems using pinch bolts.

Featuring a longer top tube and a shorter stem, progressive geometry enables you to have more control going downhill, better traction when climbing and greater freedom of movement.

Progressive geometry features on most GT MTBs and is characterised by a longer top tube and a shorter stem. The result is better balance and control when climbing and descending, greater stability at high speed and greater control in all situations.

Triple Triangle

: the famous triple triangle frame design ensures a more rigid and agile bike.

A standard on GT bikes for over two decades, the Triple Triangle concept, and the smaller rear triangle with two contact points in particular, is designed to minimise unwanted frame flex, improve acceleration and offer greater comfort. The concept also ensures greater rigidity, enhanced reactiveness and a more precise rear wheel trajectory. The Triple Triangle concept also ensures greater torsional rigidity, improved wheel clearance and increased power delivery to the rear wheel. The triple triangle also has multiple connection points that disperse vibrations through the whole frame rather than just the seat tube.

Dynamic Dual Fiber

Featuring on GT Pavement and Gravel models, Dynamic Dual Fiber is a mix of fiberglass and carbon which ensures greater control and less fatigue.

As its name suggests, dynamic Dual Fiber combines two ultra-light and ultra-rigid materials: a fiberglass composite and an external carbon layer. The former ensures exceptional rigidity whilst the second optimally disperses vibrations. The marriage of these two materials enables greater control and greater riding comfort.

Featured on bikes in the Gravel range, this system enables a wide variety of tyres to be installed for different types of roads and tracks. The GT Grade accommodates tyres of 28 to 35mm, including tyres with crampons, and is thus suitable for all purposes (road, touring, cyclocross).

Components are covered by a one-year guarantee, except for the forks which are subject to the manufacturer’s guarantee policy and thus varies depending on the manufacturer.
