The POLAR T31 Coded heart rate monitor is there so it can transmit your heart rate to your POLAR FT1 or FT7 heart rate watch effectively and reliably.

This model can adapt to all weather conditions (and can even transmit signals underwater) and is designed to last for 2,500 hours of training.
