LEZYNE MACRO DRIVE 1300XL Front Light is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from A decent product for specific purpose I picked 1300XL just for the extended range, useful in night long rides where it really excels. However it is pretty heavy in comparison to my favorite allrounder 1000XL and only marginally more powerful. Of course 1300 lumens are more than adequate even for the darkest roads, making unnecessary to use it in full power most of the time. The beam pattern is rounder than 1000XL and a touch more yellowish. As for the modes, there are five useful ones ranging from 100% to around 2/3, 1/3, 1/8 and a pulse 1/8 that I find good enough in most cases. The rest two include a flash mode which is rather annoying for my taste and also another one with just 15 lumens, looking like a bad joke with power equivalent to a candle...
