Rated 5 von 5 von aus Excellent Hooded Jacket I was looking for a hooded jacket packable in jersey pocket for road riding (much heat is lost via the head and can be kept in under a hood... and there's a lot of freezing mountain passes and foul weather here). The Gore Wear Endure fills the bill. I waited a couple of weeks for my first rain ride which finally happened last Sunday. I was out riding at 4C when it started to rain and I put the jacket on. It was perfectly water and wind proof (as expected) and importantly the hood stayed on the helmet even on speedy downhills (there are several points of adjustment to achieve that perfect fit). I also stayed nice and warm under the hood. Mine is an S so it's quite tight fitting to avoid fluttering. The jacket is very breathable as there was very little condensation in the jacket at the end of that rather intense ride. The jersey and undershirt also stayed dry. However, it's around 300g which is substantially heavier than advertised. It also has two pockets on the side which are not required for my type of riding. All in all it's a bit difficult to pack when zipped up in one of the side pocket. I rolled mine up and it fit the jersey pocket. But this could be a bit problematic with a smaller or non-elastic jersey pocket. But let's stop complaining. This is highly recommendable product if you want to road ride in bad conditions.
