Votec VRX – a gravel-grinding original, reinterpreted

Enjoy the freedom of bikepacking adventures or tackle some muddy cyclocross: you don't have to commit to one style of riding with the Votec VRX. Thanks to the bike's low bottom bracket – inspired by classic road bikes – and a riding position that strikes the balance between sportiness and comfort, you'll feel at home on the longest distances.

The slightly longer wheelbase and slightly reduced steering angle ensure speed and control when taking the bike off the asphalt. With thru-axles front and back on the VOTEC full carbon fork and frame, a Shimano GRX groupset with powerful disc brakes, as well as space for 42 mm tyres, the VRX has serious off-road potential.

Outfitted with robust-yet-lightweight Easton EA70-AX wheels on 37 mm WTB Riddler tyres, the VRX will eat up gravel fire roads, light singletrack, and chewed-up tarmac. 

Together with the super stiff and lightweight aluminium frame, the single chainring, stylish Easton seatpost and low-profile Acros headset save weight and help make the bike a fast gravel racer. Thanks to the 40-tooth chainring and 10-42-tooth SRAM cassette, you'll never have to worry about running out of gears on even the steepest climbs. 

The Votec VRX is a reinterpretation of one of the first gravel bikes to hit the European market, which quickly became a top seller. It now enters the next era with a completely new fork.

Conceived and produced in-house, the new carbon fork is a real highlight and was designed with great attention to detail by the same team behind the award-winning Votec VRC all-road bike. The adapted tube diameters and integrated brake cables give the VRX a race-ready look, while the optimised carbon layout marries comfort and control. 

The VRX is known for its robust yet lightweight aluminium frame that's consistently achieved impressive test results, and it's now been tweaked to provide even more comfort. Our hydroforming process has created a tube set that absorbs even the harshest impacts.
