The SRAM Force rear derailleur takes advantage of Exact Actuation, an actuation ratio that offers precise 3mm shifts in each gear, as well as the largest range of adjustments available, ensuring the best 10 speed performance out there.

The longer cage and modified rear derailleur geometry can accommodate various cassettes. The system offers a larger range of gears than classic three ring systems, while at the same time weighing in 250g lighter.

Manufactured from top-range materials, the exterior cage is made from carbon fibre and the inner link from magnesium.

Exact Actuation

When we launched our road technology from scratch, we applied our SRAM 1:1 activation ratio, which has already been MTB proved (shifter cable travel : derailleur movement) for rear 10 speed shifting. EA helps to simplify and stabilize the complex action of balancing rear derailleur hanger design, tight cog spacing and ideal cable tension. The result: An index gear shifting system that is simple to set up and use.
