The Ortler Bern is a high-quality city e-bike of the latest generation with a powerful Shimano Steps E-5000 mid-engine. In addition to the modern electric drive, the Bern convinces with a well thought-out detail equipment that focuses on longevity. A Shimano Nexus 7-speed gearshift is responsible for the correct gear selection, braking is done with hydraulic Shimano MT200 disc brakes, which ensure the correct deceleration at all times and in all weather conditions. Schwalbe Energizer Plus tires with their excellent puncture protection ensure high riding comfort, even on field and forest tracks.

The equipment package is rounded off by an LED lighting system, a stable aluminium touring rack and high-quality details such as Ergo grips, stem and handlebars as well as a comfortable Selle Royal saddle with carrying aid. The Shimano Steps drive is a modern mid-engine system, which is characterized by high reliability, a lot of power and long range. The special highlights of the Shimano Steps drive are the pushing aid, the multifunctional display and the long range. The battery is already 80% charged after 2 hours and completely charged after 4 hours. Thanks to the integrated charging station, the battery can be recharged directly on the wheel.
