Gravel from the ground up
Discovering the world, adventures with overnight stays under the open sky, rough little roads in the backcountry and dreamlike gravel paths, gravel can be many things. One thing is for sure, a gravel bike has to combine safe handling with decent speed and good comfort. But above all, a lot of fun! So it dashes into every gap between paved roads and narrow single trails and fills them with variety and adventure. Fully designed from the start for gravel use, the Terra is anything but a converted road bike or a slim mountain bike. The Terra IS gravel. It adds comfort to your adventures on the road and lets you finally discover where that gravel path at the end of the paved road leads. Or how about an adventure through the night? Out there, the big, wide world is waiting for you. And the Terra is ready to discover it with you.
A more versatile bike
The Terra is designed for a wide range of use. So you can customize it to fit your needs and your understanding of gravel.
Tire clearance
For fast touring and efficient propulsion on gravel roads, the Terra can be equipped with 700c x 45 tires. And if you want more comfort, puncture resistance and grip, go for 650b x 50.
Compatible groupsets
Because Orbea completely redesigned the frame, they were also able to address a problem many gravel bikes face: tire clearance limitations when choosing different crank options.
Lockr
The Terra's carbon frame features a storage compartment hidden in the downtube. It is located behind the bottle cage and offers space for a spare tube, a pump or a CO2 cartridge and a selection of tools.
Gravel Geometry
The all-new design of the Terra features geometry developed specifically for gravel use. Thanks to hard work and all their experience developing road bikes and mountain bikes, Orbea was able to put a balanced bike with precise handling and maximum control on the wheels.
Comfortable
Whether on asphalt, the gravel road, the trail or pretty much any other surface, the Terra feels at home anywhere. The angles and dimensions have been specifically chosen for each frame size so that the bike offers maximum riding comfort.
