Built for downhill: The RIOT EN has been redeveloped from the ground up and designed even more consistently for demanding enduro tours. The steep seat angle and SuperFit geometry ensure a trail-specific riding position uphill. This allows you to reach the trail entrance in a relaxed manner despite 170/160mm suspension travel. Those who have no experience with steel suspension can look forward to a real "Aha!" experience: In combination with the TractionLink rear triangle, the shock absorbs all bumps so buttery smooth that your self-confidence gets a real boost. And if you want to really party with gravity, reach for the Full Party version with premium components!
One-piece rear triangle
SIMPLE, SIMPLE AND STIFF // A one-piece rear triangle design offers high stiffness because the rear triangle is made of solid joints.
One-piece design for maximum stiffness
The one-piece shock rocker gives an extra plus on top: more stiffness leads to less transverse stress on the bolts and the entire rear triangle.
Wider is better
Boost means wider hubs. As simple as that is, the improvement is big: wider hubs bring more stability with larger wheel diameters.
Fewer parts, less stress
Forget the 2nd shifter, the front derailleur and the shift cable there; with the single drive you can save all that. In addition, the chain no longer rattles and chains that fall off are a thing of the past.
Design meets function
Cable routing needs to be secure and hidden. They are perfectly tucked away under the cable cover on the down tube. With the help of the Snap-Lock fastener on the cover, the cables can be uncovered without tools and in no time at all for quick service.
Perfectly tuned suspension
TractionLink ensures that your bike never loses traction, no matter how rough the terrain gets. The kinematics are characterised by a particularly balanced relationship between drive neutrality and rear end performance. The suspension travel is used optimally, shocks are absorbed with confidence and brake stuttering is a thing of the past.
Cleanly routed, easily accessible
Invisibly routed, but still openly accessible: with the special shape of the down tube, we let the cables disappear. But if something should happen, you can still get to it without too much effort.
