More dynamics and range with less weight
Shimano's EP8 e-drive is not only dynamic and powerful, but also offers a light system weight that perfectly supports the agile geometry of the JAM² 7.8. You have two motor support profiles available, which you can individually adapt to your needs. So you can easily switch from the display between a smooth and continuous profile for your ride to the trail and a very dynamic, progressive profile for the actual ride on the trail. Just the way you like it. Plus, the specially designed 720 Wh integrated but removable battery supports you on your long rides. In addition, you can charge your end devices via a USB-C charging port on the top tube.
Optimized kinematics for strong progression
With the further development of the well-known F.O.L.D. kinematics, you can now let it rip even harder with your JAM² 7.8. Focus has retained the popular sensitivity of the F.O.L.D., but changed the positioning of the kinematics in the frame to provide better resistance to punctures. The characteristic curve is completely progressive and provides a super stable chassis in tough terrain. Especially E-MTBs with their additional weight due to motor and battery benefit from the stronger progression. This feature allows you to master any trail while the chassis still provides you with enough comfort for long trail laps. Plus, a lower standover height gives you more room to play with your JAM² 7.8 on the trail.
More fun on the trails
Rideability is Focus' number one priority. With the JAM² 7.8, you'll have more fun on every ride. Agile, nimble geometry with a sleek, compact design let you fly over all trails, whether technical or flowy. With the FLIP CHIP on your redirection of your JAM² 7.8 you can adjust your geometry to an even more aggressive riding style. The small adjustment of the steering angle from 65.5 ° to 65 ° changes your set-up to even more downhill potency. In addition, the specially developed C.I.S. design provides a tidy look at the cockpit and ensures always flawless shifting and braking. All cables run on the handlebars into the stem and through the headset into the frame. In addition, all your essentials fit in the accessory pocket between the top and down tube.
