BROOKS was founded in Birmingham in 1866 by John Boultbee Brooks. Since its founding, the company has specialised in leatherwork with a view to selling the most comfortable saddles possible.
In the 1950s, the English brand was active in various sectors: the manufacturing of cycling saddles and accessories, the manufacturing of luggage and the manufacturing of office furniture. This know-how has been transmitted from generation to generation in order to maintain this skill and, above all, the quality of work.
The BROOKS B17 saddle is the brand's most popular saddle.
It is ideal for long distances and trekking.
It consists of 2 steel rails and leather. The leather adapts to your shape, becoming a personal object that is only comfortable for its owner.
The B17 saddle is equipped with a screw, located under the nose of the saddle, which allows the leather to be re-stretched as it becomes slack.
The B17 Narrow Imperial includes a concave section in the perineal region to avoid any discomfort.
The lower edges of the side of the saddle leather are perforated and held by a cord.
The width of the saddle can be adjusted using this cord: pulling it tightens the saddle while loosening it gives the saddle a wider shape.
