The Vanish family is expanding with the all-new Vanish Tempo. This Vanish shoe is bred for fast training and racing. This speed shoe is equipped with the rocker shape geometry to propel each step forward and our Altra EGO PRO midsole foam to cushion each stride. The Vanish T offers a more snug, comfortable fit with our Slim FootShape Fit made for performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing everyday training shoe! These are great for training runs, especially if you're planning on using Altra Vanish Carbon for racing. The fit is practically the same, but without the added propulsion and responsiveness from the lack of carbon plate. The only negative I have is the choice of shoes laces - they're made of a slick material that keeps getting undone in the middle of my runs. Thankfully they can be replaced easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe, that doesn't look good I've been wearing the shoe for months now and it has developed a little hole at the toe, so I'll need to replace them. They are extremely comfortable, and I prefer these over the Rivera because the cushioning never deflated. Often, I look at altra's website, for a shoe that also looks good, but the color schemes are often on the embarrassing side. Hoping to get something for fall/winter and more stylish, or streetwear. Maybe it's because I live in Chicago, but adults don't dress like that here. So I keep searching and I keep waiting. May have to pick up some new balances.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Toe fabric tore apart within only a few months I initially was very happy with the feel of the shoe. Unfortunately, this shoe fell apart so quickly. I have had many Altras over the years and all have lasted. In fact, I still own a couple of pairs I bought over 4 years ago. This shoe, however, started coming apart and not at the seams. Just random areas would start ripping and wearing down, even when I had not put many miles in it. This was the only pair of Altra I have ever had to throw away.
