The Altra Timp 4 with MaxTrac outsole and multidirectional lug pattern for grippy traction on any trail. Updated collar construction for a softer and more premium fit. Altra EGO MAX midsole with mesh overlay.

FootShape Toe Box
Traditional running shoes feature pointed toe boxes that push toes out of their natural position - an increased risk for bunions, hammertoes and plantar fasciitis. With Altra's FootShape toe box, toes can relax and spread naturally and the big toe stays in a straight position. This reduces overpronation, increases stability and provides a powerful propulsion to maximize running performance.

I wore them on 6 hikes, 30 miles total, and noticed the soles starting to delaminate. They were only 2 weeks old. Contacted Altra and was told it didn't meet their warranty policy. 2 weeks old! Very unhappy. First and last Altra purchase.
