All that said, they have amazing grip on the worst trail surfaces, and when I wake up the next morning on a long hike my feet don't hurt or ache at all. I can't say that with my other trail shoes.

Just had to return a pair of lone peak 7 that says they are the "original foot shape", because they were too narrow for my son's feet (compared to his previous pair!)
