Cannondale

Constant
reassessment

Cannondale

Having proven itself constantly since 1971, this company is certainly defined by its capacity to innovate. Cannondale never rests on its laurels and is tirelessly devoted to perfecting its existing technologies while developing new ones.

Technology
for Road
enthusiasts...

In 2000, Cannondale developed the Hollogram Si chainset (for System Integration) and bottom bracket with a 30 mm diameter and integrated bearings. This PressFit technology was tested at the Tour de France that same year and then gave its name to the standard BB30, which is now used by numerous manufacturers. With less drag and more stiffness, here is an overview of the SystemSix road bike features: an aerodynamic model that maximises power transfer.

Road bike Synapse is the brand’s first model that is entirely made of carbon, and the tubing profiles are specially designed to absorb vibrations. The "Save” micro-suspension technology allows for more or less flex, depending on the face profile, and significantly improves comfort.

The Gravel Topstone bikes also have an ingenious suspension solution: the KingPin system allows for more flex at the rear triangle, thanks to a thru-axle pivot. It also provides up to 30 mm of travel without the suspension needing to be weighted down by a four-bar linkage system..

Today, the new Cannondale CAAD road bike, 13th of its name, is the result of many years of experience and has firmly anchored the brand amongst the greatest aluminium specialists. This comfortable model is multi-purpose and comes at an attractive price. The tubes are made of 6069 aluminium, they have an aerodynamic design and are very responsive.

...and for
MTB lovers

In 2002, Cannondale launched what would become one of the most successful XC models in World Cups: the iconic Scalpel MTB. This then paved the way for full suspension MTBs and led to today's sophisticated blend of BallisTec Hi-MOD carbon fibres, providing the perfect combination of lightness and stiffness.

Other Enduro models, such as the Habit, even boast “Proportional Response” kinematics that can be adjusted according to the size of the rider. This more comfortable design guarantees better traction and more accurate control of the bike. The shorter chainstays and the rear clearance allow for large tyres and a double chainring to be assembled. This is all made possible by the “Asymmetric Integration” (also simply known as “AI”) that moves the drivetrain and hub outboard by 6 mm to the right and strengthens overall stiffness.

Today's urban models, such as the Bad Boy city bike use the Lefty MTB technology: a single legged fork that was launched in 2000 and has been improved countless times since then. Aside from its atypical design, this system ensures the weight is lighter, the bike is sturdier and stiffness is greater than most other models on the market.

And there are
tailored electric
products!

Cannondale's Neo ranges put the electric models centre stage. By partnering with German brand Bosch very early on, Cannondale has always been committed to high quality and performance. The engine unit is always carefully integrated with the frame and so it provides both supple and powerful pedalling and is suitable for all types of practice. While the Moterra electric MTB Performance CX engine is particularly sporty, electric road bike Synapse’s Active Line Plus version prioritises flexibility and endurance.

And Cannondale is also synonymous with electric city bikes, some of which are fitted with the Ebikemotion engine, which is both discreet and effective.

Putting the digital
world at the service
of cyclists

All of your bike's data, such as your accessory adjustment, your route data and technical information, is now accessible via a simple application. This even tells you which maintenance operations are required while saving your invaluable records. Also, the Cannondale application contains video content and allows you to measure the positive carbon impact of your travels..

You can also pair it with a wheel sensor, developed in partnership with Garmin, to measure you outings accurately. This smart device is triggered as soon as you set foot on the pedals without having to activate it manually. The brand works relentlessly to improve the technical aspects of its bikes and now plans to offer a connected experience to improve bike usage.
