Les chaussures de Trail ALTRA Olympus 5 mettent clairement l'accent sur le confort ! On les conseille pour les entraînements longue durée sur les sentiers difficiles et pour les épreuves Ultra.
La semelle intermédiaire Ego Max attire l'attention avec son profil oversize ! Cette bonne épaisseur de mousse Eva promet un toucher confortable et un amorti agréable sur le terrain. La chaussure utilise aussi le système InnerFlex, pour gagner en flexibilité. Le confort général est augmenté par le design FootShape Toe Box, qui laisse un maximum de place à l'avant, pour que les orteils se positionnent naturellement sur chaque appui. La languette a aussi été revue, pour se placer de manière optimale sur le cou-de-pied. A l'arrière, la languette protège le talon d'achille pour gagner en stabilité.
Caractérisée par un drop nul, la chaussure Olympus 5 est appréciée pour l'accroche efficace de sa semelle Vibram MegaGrip. Ce matériau durable a de très bonnes qualités sur le sec et sur le mouillé. Not the same
The soles are peeling off in multiple places. Both toes and the back of the right. I have gotten a fair amount of use, but not for this to happen. One 14er and one 10 mile backpack plus some daily running. When I contacted Altra that told me to go to the place of purchase. I'm writing this to help you get better as I love the brand but seems to be a theme of quality sliding.

I would not buy this shoe again
I used to hike lots of miles in either the Lone Peaks or these. I recently purchased and returned a new pair of Olympus. They were not lush. They were not cushioned. I could feel every millimeter of every lug from the Vibram soles. Felt like a piece of the shoe box was all the separated the heavy duty Vibram Soles from my foot. Ive been buying Altra's since 2011. This last new pair were the worst shoes I've ever walked in. Absolutely terrible. I see they finally have some size 14 Lone Peaks in stock. I want them but after this recent experience, I'm hesitant. I used to love this company.

A nicely designed shoe with appalling lack of durability!
Love the large toe box and the overall shoe design, but very disappointed with liner durability for the 4 shoes I've purchased. As a textile scientist I know of what I speak.

NO CONSISTENCY - NO HEEL POCKET
Why can't you guys produce shoes that fit consistently within a line? Currently have a pair of Lone Peak 7 in Size 12 which fit great. I tried the Olympus 5 and the run 1/2 smaller and there is NO heel pocket whatsoever? The rear heel collar seems to be 1/2-1" lower compared to the Lone Peak resulting in ZERO heel hold or lock. Also ran into similar sizing issue when trying the Timp 5, runs 1/2 size smaller comparatively to the Lone Peak 7. Still trying to find an Altra trail shoe with more cushion/stack that complements the Lone Peak, but it appears each one of your shoes is different in size and fit??? The consistency within the trail line SUCKS...

I've bought these twice.
Good wide shoe, ton of support. You'll likely love it or hate it. People complain about durability, which may be very valid. That said I've done a lot of miles on these on Colorado trails which are extremely rocky, and these shoes have help up well with no visible damage. I did a 20 miles trail race as well, and felt good the whole time.

Super comfy, would buy again!
Super cushion, grippy and fits very well. I am a bigger person and it's the most comfy running/hiking shoe I have ever had. So worth the purchase!

Vibrem fell apart after 1 month
Love the Olympus series; I've been running in Olympus consistently for 3 years. But this model stinks! The vibrem fell off after 1 month of use. C'mon Altra! You're killing us!!!
