Then rely on the combination of Gates belt drive and Shimano 11-speed Alfine hub gears. Gates' carbon-reinforced drive belts offer a particularly long service life, do not need to be lubricated and are virtually maintenance-free. Shimano's finely adjustable hydraulic disc brakes provide powerful grip and safety - on fast off-road descents as well as in the urban jungle. Frequent drivers will appreciate these advantages.

And as befits a "every day trekking bike", the overall equipment offers a lot of comfort and function: the LED lighting system from Busch & Müller and the sturdy luggage rack from Racktime are just as much a part of it as the proven Ergon handles or the Schwalbe Marathon Supreme tyres.
