It doesn’t really matter when you’re on the Votec VRC. Sure, there are umpteen gravel bikes and road bikes with a few extra millimetres tyre clearance, but the VRC is an entirely different beast.

We decided to make a sporty all-road bike with none of the usual compromises.

The new UD Carbon frameset, with shaped floating seatstays and its VR-Knot construction is both incredibly light and durable – perfect for KOM attempts on the tarmac but tough enough to deal with the type of unpaved backroads you find a little off the beaten track.

You might not even have noticed the hidden mounts for full mudguards, and with high flat-mount disc brakes designed for 160/180mm rotors on the front, bad weather is really no excuse for missing a ride – not that you would, anyway. The VRC is ideal for long days in the saddle, but we guarantee time will fly.
