SILVA TRAIL SPEED 5XT Headlamp

Trail Speed 5XT is an extremely lightweight, compact and very powerful headlamp, combined with a powerful and rechargeable 7.0 Ah battery for extensive training sessions and adventures. This model is equipped with no less than seven accessories for added convenience and various mounting options on bike, helmet or headband. This headlamp is the perfect choice for mountain biking, ski touring or longer training sessions in challenging terrain thanks to the accessories combined with the powerful battery.

A low weight is essential if you want to test your limits. Thanks to the flexibility of the Trail Speed, you can adjust the weight to your specific needs. The new and improved headlamp battery holder keeps the battery in place and increases comfort when wearing the battery on your head. You attach the battery holder to the headband and then simply slide the battery in. The ergonomic back plate can be removed and replaced with the rear cable guide if you like it uncomplicated and lightweight - with either solution, you can store the battery in your pocket or backpack so the weight doesn't weigh down your head. With this headlamp, you can be sure that the darkness won't stop you.

7.0Ah battery
Trail Speed 5XT comes with a powerful 7.0 Ah battery. This battery allows for long training sessions or activities with a light duration of 40 hours in minimum mode, 16 hours in medium mode and 10 hours in maximum mode. The battery easily attaches to the headlamp's battery holder or stows in a backpack or bag with an extension cord.

The battery indicator keeps you informed of the battery level before and during your activity. There's also a low battery warning and a backup mode that automatically adjusts the light to a setting that will get you home safely.

Many light functions
Trail Speed 5XT features Silva Intelligent Light, a unique combination of a wide beam and a close beam. This means less head movement and a clear view of near and far obstacles: So you'll always have the balance and confidence to move fast and perform better.

The ingenious Silva Flow Light feature takes light optimization even further by allowing seamless tuning of the light pattern by simply tilting the headlamp. Tilting down makes the light beam wider and suitable for slower activities like running and mountaineering. Tilting the headlamp forward makes the light reach farther, which is necessary for high-speed activities like mountain biking or skiing.

The super-low mode function (80 lumens) allows for extensive training sessions or races by minimizing battery consumption when maximum light is not needed. This is perfect for ski touring where you can use the super-low mode when going up and save battery for skiing down.

Additional batteries and accessories are available for this headlamp model. By adding more battery options to your headlamp configuration, you can find the right balance of burn time and weight for different activities and conditions.

The wide, non-slip headband and ergonomic back plate ensure a comfortable fit, even during long and strenuous activities. The removable headband provides extra support when needed. The headband can be worn with a helmet by removing the ergonomic back plate - so you can either use the included helmet mount or simply plug the headlamp into your helmet and go. If you prefer to nab the lamp on a bike handlebar and use it as a bike light, a handlebar mount is also included. It fits handlebars with a dimension between 22 and 35 mm.

Thanks to the flexible mounting options and resistance to all types of weather and terrain, the lamp is incredibly versatile.
