Rated 4 out of 5 by from Trying Dura-Ace on 105: worth it Put these Dura-Ace cables in a Shimano 105 group. No installation problems. Saw a hint on a blog saying that the polymer used in the Dura Ace inner cables is what really sets Dura Ace cables apart from 105 and Ultegra cables. Result: gear shifting is smoother and more pleasant, but don't expect a miracle. Howerver, if you need to change gear cables, it is worth spending a little more money and go for the premium Dura-Ace set.
