Probikeshop advice: for optimal function and permanent grip, we recommend you run the tyres in over approximately 40 kilometres on tarmac roads. Avoid accelerating of braking too harshly during this time.

What's more, lower the pressure when the road is snowy and increase it when the road is dry. This will increase the tyre's efficiency in the first case and reduce noise in the second.
