I have a 2009 Lyrik with oil and dust seals, I see this has a foam ring. will this work? or is this an upgrade from the original? thanks

Hey, good question! It's hard to find any info on the Lyrik pre-2010. As far as I can tell, the older forks came with a separate oil and dust seal, but later models were fitted with a wiper plus foam ring. I guess that the modern wipers are so good that the oil seal wasn't needed any more, and removing it reduced stiction (the foam ring keeps some oil on the stanchions for lubrication). Interestingly, I have a kit here with exactly the same part number (11.4015.067.000) which contains the separate dust and oil seals, so as RS now offer this part number with wiper and foam ring, I think it's safe to assume that you can interchange them.
