RIVA CYPRESS Fixie Bike Green

The CYPRESS is the interpretation of a classic. Standard equipment includes lower profile rims, gumwall tires (tires with light brown sidewall) and a saddle and handlebar tape kit from SRD. The wheel comes in timeless colors like green, gray and brown.

Cr-Mo 4130
The CYPRESS frameset uses the same geometry as BASEMENT and is even made from the same material, a special steel alloy of chromium-molybdenum SAE 4130, which is also used in the aerospace and motorsport industries. The frames are made of double-butted tubes with variable thickness, which allows to put the right thickness in the right place, guaranteeing a long life without unnecessary weight.

Due to the TIG welding process, the frame has chain tensioners integrated into the dropouts, which makes the change from single speed to fixed even easier.

Singlespeed or Fixed?
The CYPRESS comes with a flip-flop hub so you can quickly and conveniently switch between fixed gear and singlespeed mode.

The flip-flop hub comes with two sprockets, one on each side of the hub. There is no freewheel in fixed gear mode. This means that when your pedals turn, your legs turn with them. The rigid gear is ideal if you really want to feel connected to the bike and the road. If you prefer a more relaxed ride, where even going downhill feels like riding a regular bike, then simply reverse the rear wheel and use the sprocket with the freewheel.

CYPRESS comes standard with a coordinated saddle and handlebar tape kit from SRD, handmade exclusively for the models.

Made of tanned leather treated with products of natural origin, without the addition of chemical solvents and hand-dyed, the SRD kits are durable, have a flawless finish and a feel that makes you even more comfortable cycling.
