Description
Due to delays in global supply chains, Manufacturer may have replaced some original components with equivalent or higher quality components. In some cases, the bike delivered may differ from the images.

"Oh, this is an e-bike!?" is the kind of question owners of the TX-E will have to answer often.

As a single-speed bike with a Gates belt drive, the TX-E is the uncompromising symbiosis of visual reduction and innovative e-bike technology. Barely visible, the drive components are integrated into the bike. The 250-W rear-wheel drive with is hardly larger than a hub dynamo, the 252-Wh battery is completely integrated into the down tube and the charging socket – protected from dirt and rough weather – is hidden above the bottom bracket. It is easy to control via smartphone using the Rabeneick My Bike app – without an additional display or control element.

Less is more: in addition to the invisible E, the low weight is remarkable – depending on the frame size, it may be as light as 18.6 kg. With its purist design and the absence of superfluous equipment details, the TX-E is predestined for fast-paced asphalt rides. The extremely lightweight, rigid aluminium frame, hydraulic disc brakes and Contact Speed tyres by Continental allow dynamic handling and secure control – even at high speed. A clever urban feature: shopping or luggage can be attached to the Wingee mudguards with inconspicuous pannier brackets.

Customers reviews
RABENEICK TX-E DIAMANT Electric City Bike Black is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don`t do it. After 6month of owning this bike, I can say, I am very disappointed. Technical issues. Firstly, the quality of the components: At 800km the built in controller battery glitches and stuck into charging mode, the only way to fix this was replacing new battery (400euros) At 600km After couple of times riding in rain, the bafang bottom bracket torque sensor started to make weird sounds, this product is very badly sealed, the water got in and had to replace bearings. (Luckily not all the bracket, as it costs 200eur) Turns out the charging port hub has no protection from rain, all the water goes straight down through it, into the bottom bracket. At 1200km It has just too much torque on the rear wheel, assistance level 5 by the default is always on. (To reduce it, it’s very inconvenient every time turning on the bike, to open the app, pair with the bike, and then reduce power. Rear tire with just 1200km is already replaceable. (Inappropriate type of tire for an e-bike) But the biggest issue Bafang rear motor started to make clicking sounds, had to replace both end bearings, (looks like they cannot keep up the torque) Too much trouble as this bike is not the cheapest in the market (new costs around 2000euros) Riding comfort. It has this very stylish urban hipster e-bike look. Gates carbon drive, hydraulic disc brakes. I Thought, well, this bike is well build, it’s going to last forever. Yeah right! From 6month owning it, 3month it spent in bike repair shops. At the end my 30 years old Gazelle is much more reliable, doesn’t need any maintenance at all. The 250Wh battery lasts only 25-40km maximum; the bike shuts down with 30% battery left. And with 30% battery was hard to initiate charging process (it just wouldn’t charge) And without power this bike is useless, very hard to pedal. Bear in mind that you cannot leave the bike in the sun or under +7c to keep the battery in good shape (and in the rain obviously too) . To charge it, you have to carry it inside.
