The intensity of the pedal-assist can be set at four different levels depending upon the riders requirements. Suitably equipped with superior Shimano drive train technology, responsive Suntour forks, and Magura HS 11 hydraulic disk brakes, the Ortler Montreux wants for nothing.

The Bosch drive: “Electronic intelligence for superior driver support". The symbiotic relationship between the drive unit, battery and display produces an intelligent e-bike in a conventional trekking bike. Riding the Bosch is like riding any other bike, the support provided is determined by the amount of pressure exerted on the pedals. The efficient design of the Bosch means that the motor switches off automatically when the rider adjusts their pedaling. Sensors for speed, pedal force and cadence tune the engine to provide optimal individualized support to the rider.
