Climb on! Discover the Detroit EQ as a wonderfully reliable companion!
Lots of riding pleasure, authentic style, hardly any frills and exactly the extra portion of technology that demanding everyday riders have been looking for. The Ortler Detroit in the EQ version gets even more all-round suitability out of the entry-level city classic, without being unfaithful to the character or classic guise. With the Ortler Detroit EQ, you glide confidently through every city centre and everyday life in a comfortable, well-arranged position - always on the move with the good feeling of having chosen style and quality where it really counts.
For urban stop & go, brisk propulsion on the flat and effortless climbing of slopes, the rider has 6 gears of the proven Shimano Tourney derailleur at his or her disposal. A little variation in speed is quite pleasant, but more than 6 gears are usually not needed in the city. The Detriot EQ also does without a complex suspension system. The weight saved and the low maintenance easily make up for the lack of suspension travel in practice.
However, the Detroit has complete StVZO equipment including a sturdy luggage rack in the same colour as the frame, sturdy aluminium rims and a maintenance-free cartridge bottom bracket. Braking is provided by a powerful V-brake at the front and rear. On top of that, Ortler gives a 10-year warranty on the frame and fork.
Thanks to the low step-in and the large adjustment range of the handlebars and saddle, riders between 1.55 m and 1.85 m can ride comfortably with the Ortler Detroit EQ Unisize frame size.
