Ortler deliberately dispensed with a suspension fork and spring-mounted seat post in order to build the most robust yet lightest touring bike possible. A complete Shimano 27-speed system with Deore rear derailleur, hydraulic disc brakes, Schwalbe Citizen tyres and Basta LED light system with hub dynamo make the Bergerac a reliable companion on (and thanks to the sturdy hollow chamber rims) also off-road. The angle-adjustable stem and bar ends on the handlebars enable an optimal ergonomic seating position for every type of rider. The package is rounded off by a high-quality aluminium luggage rack, sealed maintenance-free bottom bracket and impact-resistant powder coating.
