Rated 4 out of 5 by from A classic performer made even better I´ve bought a pair of High Rollers 2 for my 27.5" downhill bike. I always go for the softest compound for my race bike, the grip levels are from another world. However, if your goal is to ride your bike just for the fun of it and want your tires to last, go for the harder compounds. They will still give you good levels of grip and last a lot longer. The original HighRoller is a classic performer and the new version (II) is similar but has an extra edge of performance. This is an awesome all-round tire, except if there is mud on the track, they don´t cope well with that. Bottom-line is, buy this if you want a do-it-all fast-rolling, versatile tire, just don´t use it on muddy courses. I recommend this for Downhill, Freeride and Enduro bikes.
