Conical head tube
With the conical head tube, the lower headset has a larger diameter than the upper one. The larger diameter provides a stiffer construction without additional weight and thus for more stable steering behavior.

Press-Fit bottom bracket
For the Press-Fit bottom bracket, the bearings for the crankshaft are pressed into the frame. In addition to saving weight, this also makes for a stiffer frame, as the down tube can be connected to the bottom bracket shell with a larger diameter.
