With the new image frame platform, a new era is dawning at Kalkhoff for the e-city segment. Batteries that are fully within the frame represent a quantum leap for the new comfort class, and the Wave version also benefits from this development.

The fact that even the deep-entry version, despite battery integration, still meets the XXL requirements for particularly tall drivers is the crowning achievement of this development. In the bottom bracket area, a Bosch Active Plus drive works for the rider and supports every pedal revolution up to 15mph. Hidden in the down tube of the high-quality frame is a 500 Wh Bosch Powertube battery, which allows a range of up to around 90 miles. An 8-speed Shimano Nexus hub gear complements the motor support. The Intuvia Luxury display gives you full control over the battery level while riding, whilst also serving as a truly intuitive on-board computer with speed and distance information. Hydraulic Shimano disc brakes achieve consistently high braking power in all weather and require minimum application of pressure. It's not just the comfortable sitting position that makes rides on the Image XXL such confident glides. A Suntour suspension fork and a suspension seat post take the fright out of uneven roads, whilst easy-rolling and comfortable Schwalbe Marathon tyres handle a wide variety of surfaces. Provided as standard are high-quality mudguards, stand, lock and chain guard as well as an LED lighting system with parking light function and an adjustable stem. Accessories also include an Ergo handlebar and a comfortable Selle Royal saddle.
