Kalkhoff Image XXL B8: A premium-class city e-bike

With the new image frame platform, a new era is dawning at Kalkhoff for the e-city segment. Batteries that are fully integrated into the frame represent a quantum leap for the new comfort class. The fact that the frame still meets the XXL requirements for particularly tall drivers despite battery integration is the crowning glory of this development. In the bottom bracket area, a Bosch Active Plus drive works for the rider and supports every pedal revolution up to 15 mph. Hidden in the down tube of the high-quality frame is a 500 Wh Bosch Powertube battery, which allows a range of up to around 90 miles. An 8-speed Shimano Nexus hub gear complements the motor support. The Intuvia Luxury display gives you full control over the battery level while riding, whilst also serving as a truly intuitive on-board computer with speed and distance information. Hydraulic Shimano disc brakes achieve a consistently high braking effect in all weathers and require only minimal pressure. It's not just the comfortable sitting position that makes every fast ride on the Image XXL a confident glide. A Suntour suspension fork and dropper seat post also take the fright out of uneven roads and easy-rolling Schwalbe Marathon tyres handle a wide variety of surfaces. Provided as standard are high-quality mudguards, stand, lock and chain guard as well as an LED lighting system with parking light function and an adjustable stem. Accessories also include an Ergo handlebar and a comfortable Selle Royal saddle.
