Carbon is the dominant material here and extends from the frame to the DT Swiss wheels and Race Face handlebars. This saves weight and, together with the powerful Yamaha -X motor, ensures a playful yet natural riding experience. So you can really have fun uphill and the increased battery capacity of 600 watt hours gives you power on the trails for even longer. So that you're never at a loss for a gear when climbing, Haibike has equipped the Special Edition with the XX1 Eagle shifting system from SRAM: 38 teeth at the front, 10-52 at the rear. The whole thing is refined with the golden Eagle SRAM XX1 Eagle chain.

This means you'll have plenty of bang downhill too, and the remarkable combination of two wheel sizes, 29 front and 27.5 rear, ensures precise handling and superior traction, further enhanced by the 2.5 (front) and 2.8 (rear) wide Maxxis Minion tyres. This bike is suitable for any terrain and the 160-millimetre suspension elements from Öhlins, lowerable SRAM Reverb AXS seatpost and hydraulic XTR-M9120 four-piston disc brakes from Shimano leave nothing to be desired, even downhill for ambitious riders.
