The Fixie Inc. Backspin demonstrates what modern e-mobility can look like in the city. With the clean look of a singlespeed bike and an electric motor completely hidden inside the rear hub, it will turn heads, amaze you and be a lot of fun on your way through the city.

Singlespeed
There are no unnecessary extras cluttering up this bike: here you will find the essentials you need to get from A to B. This doesn’t just look better than bikes overloaded with features and attachments, it also makes your life easier. As a result of forgoing overly complex components, the Fixie Inc. Backspin accompanies you through thick and thin without any breakdowns.

Drive
If you didn’t know, you wouldn’t recognise the Zehus drive as such. The engine, battery and controls are completely housed in the rear hub and charging is done via a hidden connector in the axle. The drive has a maximum power rating of 250 watts up to a speed of 25 km/h according to legal regulations. The Zehus app allows you to conveniently control all drive parameters.

Backspin
The characteristic feature of this wheel is the backspin. When you pedal back three times, you activate the drive’s charging mode, which allows you to charge the battery while riding. For example, you can enjoy uphill pedal support and recharge the battery as you roll downhill. You can also use the app to set a smart recuperation mode that always charges the battery at a certain gradient.

Geometry
What mountain bikes have been demonstrating for years is also slowly gaining ground on bikes with narrower tyres. The Fixie Inc. backspin has a longer top tube in combination with a shorter stem for more stability at higher speeds. The manoeuvrability of the wheel is maintained by the short stem. As a result, you enjoy a high running smoothness but can also turn around tight curves without great effort.

Attachments
In addition to style, attention was naturally also paid to functionality. The fork and frame have special points to which light and elegant mudguards are attached. As a result, you stay dry when it rains but can enjoy the minimalist look of your bike again in no time at all.

Bonjour, le commentaire fait référence à un freinage par rétropédalage mais peut-on être en roue libre?

Bonjour le freinage par rétropédalage est en fait un frein du moteur électrique. Donc la roue peut être en roue libre (on peut régler la puissance du frein moteur) et aussi en freinant ainsi on recharge le moteur. Ce frein moteur peut donc être assez fun et il est éventuellement utile. Par contre il ne permet que de ralentir ce n est pas un frein à tambour dans le moyeu. Perso j aime bien mais j aimerais essayé le bike+.

Concernant le Backspin Zehus 2022 et le Backspin Zehus 2022 Comp. La valeur dont puissant 172 « Comp » est inférieure et celui-ci qui est à 160.  Mon choix s’est porté sur le Comp. Les caractéristiques respectifs sont-ils corrects?

Ce serait surprenant car tous les moteurs Zehus de cette génération sont à 173 Wh selon le site du fabriquant. Dans le doute prendre le 172 :-)

Non.les deux disposent de l'éclairage identique. La différence semble résider dans la motorisation et la puissance de la batterie 160 contre 172 . Mais l'écart est minime.pour info, j'ai payé le mien 999€ il y a 1 an

Bonjour, est ce que ce vélo est équipé un moteur BIKE+ ALL IN ONE generation 2.1?

Bonsoir. Non ce semble être le moteur génération 2 mais pas bike+ car pas le mode "bike+" dans l'application de contrôle. Expérience de 2 mois avec ce vélo : autonomie confirmée à 30 km en mode Turbo et 60 km en mode Eco. Très sympa en ville, ça reste un fixie donc il faut pédaler mais il aide bien dans les côtes ou vent de face. Très bien fini et léger à emmener. C'est bien la version 2022 donc avec lightskin sur cintre et tige de selle.
