The dhb Dorica Mountain Bike (MTB) shoes are versatile cycling shoes that can be used on the trails, commuting, or even for your indoor cycling class. Laces have been popular with cyclists since the beginning of the bicycle, offering riders the opportunity to gain the right balance between a secure fit, and a comfortable one. For Mountain Bike and Cyclocross riders, they have the added bonus of working no matter how clogged up with mud they get. Due to the traditional 'oxford style' opening, these MTB shoes allow lots of flexibility in obtaining the correct fit- you can easily open or close them depending on your foot shape. These dhb shoes also include an elastic lace retainer to keep your laces secure, tidy, and to ensure they don't get caught up in your chainrings. The nylon sole offers the right balance between pedal efficiency and compliance for performance and all-day comfort. Perforated holes on the top of the shoe increase breathability for warmer weather riding, or more intense sessions. The sides of the shoe are more robust, protecting against contact with the terrain or bike. The perforated tongue also helps to increase airflow and shapes over the top of the foot for added comfort when you close the laces. The toe-box width has been increased to accommodate a slightly wider forefoot or a thicker pair of socks for those cooler weather rides.
