The full carbon fork with thru axle is light and comfortable. Wide-ranging Microshift 1x9 gears have the range to tackle any trail. Powerful disc brakes with Schwalbe tyres and Newmen rims – just like on the full-size mountain bikes – are extra reassuring. And contact points designed for junior proportions ensure that your young rider is comfortable and in full control, all the time.

The Reaction 240 Pro is made from the same kind of heat-treated 6061 aluminium tubes that you'll find in the performance adult bikes. We also use the same mechanical tube-forming process to adjust tube shapes for the best combination of strength and weight, and tyre clearance. There's a full carbon fork with thru axle, to save even more weight. Disc brake mounts and cable routing allow for the greater safety and stopping power of discs. And a replaceable derailleur hanger insures against expensive repairs in the event of minor mishaps
