Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good enough for that price. I bought these to change the basic brakes that came with my commuter bike (folding bike). If you care about weight, these are a little bit on the heavy side, they're made of a steel alloy. In general, the quality (for that price) is not bad, although the brake levers came with a couple of small dents on the paint, not a big issue. - Brake pads are good for all weather conditions, I haven't had any problem or noise out of them. - Brake levers are made of the same steel alloy, and they actually have a hinge which allows to put them on without taking the grips off. Weird, because most of the basic levers will make you take the grips off, unless you brake them. The feel is a bit spongy, which was annoying at first because I like to have a perfect feel when braking, specially on a rainy day, so even though you set the brakes too close to the wheel to avoid that, they will still be spongy, but after a day or so I got used to it. - Brake arms are solid and it is easy to adjust the spring tension, the mounting bolt looks okay and fit perfectly. Overall, if you have some old or rusty non branded brakes, with plastic levers, which do not perform very well and you are just looking to swap everything, having a metal brake lever and a decent brake, then these will do the job perfectly.
