Cervelo always launches a new bike when significant performance improvements become possible. The integration of disc brake technology has done just that. The S3 Disc is stiffer and more aerodynamic than its rim brake counterpart.

By combining proven S Series aero performance with the latest stiffness and lightweight design from Project California's research facility, you get what Ride Magazine called "possibly The Perfect Bike". For friendly Saturday morning rides, or just getting to the cafe a little quicker. Stiffer, better riding, aerodynamic as always – and all with a zero weight penalty.

PERFORMANCE
A completely redesigned frame combines a new, more robust wing airfoil profile with a rear section inspired by the revolutionary Rca street frame. The Dropped Downtube increases the stiffness of the frame, while the flattened rear edge makes the bottles an integral part of airfoil design. The overall improvement focuses on all the benefits you want from a workhorse of a bicycle: Future-proof cables make it easy to set up internally routed electronic, mechanical or hydraulic shift and brake cables. Increased tyre clearance allows you to choose up to 700x25mm tyres.

AERODYNAMIC
With the proven aero features that have made the S Series the top bike in aero road bike development, the S3 will give you the feeling that you're cheating more than just the wind. From Dropped Downtube to Shielding Seatstay, all frame shapes are designed to smooth the airflow across the entire bike and the rider as a system. The partial seat tube cut-out improves air circulation around the rear wheel and allows a tyre clearance of 700x25c.

STIFFNESS
A reward for each pedal stroke: BBright increases the stiffness of the bottom bracket by 16% compared to the previous model, giving you a sprint victory. Cervelo's Evolved Steerer design increases the stiffness of the front end (+23% compared to the previous S3) for safe and responsive handling.
