The 2020 Astra pushes boundaries - more than any Astra has ever done before. Crafted by skilled hands and built in-house, the Astra combines the latest technology, quality parts and style.

Driving Experience
True to its basso DNA, the Astra is a thoroughbred racehorse ready to take you further, faster and with more confidence. The straight fork and rear triangle are inspired by the SV's design and offer similarly reactive and responsive handling. Basso has developed a geometry that offers the perfect blend of snappy handling and acceleration as well as a comfortable position for long distance riding.

Efficiency
A larger, more massive head tube is combined with an extremely strong down tube, which gets its characteristics from a special shape. Both tubes couple with completely redesigned chainstays to provide fantastic power transmission through a solid, responsive complete unit of lower tubes (head tube, down tube, chainstays).

Style
The integrated seat post clamp, internal cable routing and the most elegant stem/headset combination in the cycling world create a frame that not only offers performance but also elegance.

From Basso for you
Made from 100% 3k Torayca High Modulous Carbon Fiber (a blend of T700 and MR60 fibers), the Astra is able to deliver performance on par with its higher class siblings, with the only compromise being a few extra grams. Built by hand in our own factory, the Astra, just like the rest of the basso-frames, is beautiful inside and out.
